Corazon Aquino, the Philippine and ASIA'S first FEMALE President, the one who set the country free from the hands of dictatorship of former President Marcos, died last August 1, 2009 at 3:18am in Makati Medical Center(HEY ITS OUR HOSPITAL/SCHOOL) from Cardiopulmonary Arrest after  the complications of Colon Cancer. The International Community(mainly including China, Russia, UK, America and the Vatican) was saddened after hearing the news that she died. Her funeral mass is currently being held right now. Aquino's private funeral will be held on Wednesday, August 5, 2009 at the Manila Memorial Park. The late president will be laid to rest beside her husband Benigno "Ninoy" Aquino, Jr, a former senator who was shot dead during the time of Marcos.

It felt like such a great loss, but then again, Cory and Ninoy left such a huge impact on our history already. So I guess it's good that they're finally together again.

All the people who fight for democracy shall rest in peace and live in our memories and in history. In Argentina we understand the fight of the people who stood up against dictators. So we always cry the death of those people (well, at least 3/4 of the population).
